Poseidon

Background: Poseidon is the son of Cronus and Rhea. He was swallowed by his father based on the stories that have been carried down for centuries. Rhea, his mother, saved him from the evil fate that was brought upon him by his father. Poseidon is the God of water, this God is over all the sea’s and the oceans.

Symbol: Poseidon's most known symbol throughout all of history is the trident, the cyclops made it for him before the war of the gods and the titans.

Writings: Rick Riordan wrote about Percy Jackson and all the other Olympians which also included the Titans. In the story, Percy Jackson is the son Poseidon and Poseidon is taken as one of the more gentle Gods in the Percy Jackson series. That is ironic due to the fact that a lot of myths include Gods being violent and non-forgiving.

Music: Most songs of Poseidon start peaceful and escalate quickly and remind me of anger and rage.
